OT Driving Assessments
An OT (Occupational Therapy) Driving Assessment is a specialised evaluation conducted to determine an individual's ability to drive safely and independently. Vehicle Modifications
*Hand controls for acceleration and braking *Left-foot accelerators for clients with right leg impairments *Steering aids such as spinner knobs or joystick steering *Wheelchair hoists or lifts for loading mobility devices *Ramp access and floor lowering for wheelchair users *Pedal extensions and modified mirrors or indicators *Remote control systems for secondary functions (e.g. wipers, horn)
