Services

The following services are offered

OT Driving Assessments

An OT (Occupational Therapy) Driving Assessment is a specialised evaluation conducted to determine an individual's ability to drive safely and independently. The assessment is particularly important for individuals who may have physical, cognitive, or psychological conditions that could affect their driving skills.

Vehicle Modifications

*Hand controls for acceleration and braking *Left-foot accelerators for clients with right leg impairments *Steering aids such as spinner knobs or joystick steering *Wheelchair hoists or lifts for loading mobility devices *Ramp access and floor lowering for wheelchair users *Pedal extensions and modified mirrors or indicators *Remote control systems for secondary functions (e.g. wipers, horn)

Functional Capacity Assessments

An FCA is a comprehensive evaluation conducted to determine your ability to perform daily tasks and activities required for independent living, work, or community participation. It assesses physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities in relation to the demands of everyday life or a specific role (like returning to work or managing at home after injury or illness)

Basic Home Modifications

Basic home modifications are simple changes made to your home to improve safety, accessibility, and independence, especially for individuals with mobility, sensory, or cognitive challenges. These modifications help reduce the risk of falls, support daily living, and allow people to stay in their homes longer.

Equipment Needs Assessments

An Equipment Needs Assessment is a professional evaluation to determine what assistive equipment or devices an individual may require to improve their safety, independence, and quality of life in everyday tasks.
